POSITION TITLE:

Assistant Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a Wal-Mart facility. Duties include but are not limited to assisting in driving sales in the facility, ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures as well as providing supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in the facility. Travel to and from multiple facilities or work sites. Shifts include working overnight and varying shifts, as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

One year general retail experience and one year supervisory experience, OR two years general work experience and one year supervisory experience OR completion of two or more years of college.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two or more year's general retail management experience; OR Two or more years experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring and terminations.
