Recessions are the breeding ground for entrepreneurs. The entrepreneur plants him-herself in all sorts of soil in all sorts of seasons, but the dry, arid soil of an economic downturn is often the impetus one needs to finally try out that business idea that has been kicking around.

Market intelligence and a good marketing plan are crucial to the success of almost any company. Even in the early days of start-up, when money is in short supply and the hours are long, taking the time to effectively market a business is crucial to success.
What should the entrepreneur include in a marketing strategy?
